Where you dock in Gothenburg decides your day. Small and mid-size ships dock a short walk from the center, but big ships berth about 9 km out. Trams, buses and boats all use one Västtrafik ticket.
Where Gothenburg lies
Where your ship docks
Four cruise berths. America Terminal (Berth 36) is central and takes ships up to about 220 m. Arendal Terminal (Berth 751) is on Hisingen island. The biggest ships use Skandia or Älvsborg harbor, about 9 km out.
Shuttle. Ships berthing far out usually run a shuttle. At Älvsborg a free port bus takes you to the gate.
